Old English is certainly its own language, with its own grammar, vocab, and idioms. And it does need to be studied as a different language - even now I feel like I have only scratched it's surface.

Some of the later generations of Pokémon (well, later by the standards of someone who started playing in the 90s) introduced a bunch of little freaks who are more or less just mundane, inanimate objects with faces.
